Ayan Receives Outstanding Service Award

Danielle Ayan, a Senior Research Scientist with the Information and Communications Laboratory (ICL) at the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI), received the 2011 Outstanding Service Award from the National States Geographic Information Council (NSGIC).

A member of the NSGIC Board of Directors since 2008, Ayan’s work ethic is credited with receiving funding and pushing forward a more efficient assessment toolbox for the Geospatial Maturity Assessment of states project.

Ayan works as a geographic information systems professional (GISP) in the Computer Science & Decision Support Division of ICL.
