MARTA Directions

  1. Ride MARTA to the Midtown Station, located on West Peachtree Street.
  2. Take the 12 Howell Mill or 37 Defoors Ferry Rd. bus from Midtown Station, located on 10th Street. Tell the bus driver you would like to exit at State Street, by the Papa John's pizza restaurant.
  3. After exiting the bus at State Street, cross 10th Street at the crosswalk. Be aware that 10th Street is a high-traffic area and that crossing the street outside the crosswalk is not recommended.
  4. You should now be standing on the corner of State and 10th. The Centennial Research Building (CRB) at 400 10th Street is a short block west (the direction your bus just took you in) on Dalney Street.
  5. The CRB is a large six-story red brick and cream-colored cement building on a hill. Across Dalney from it are a small park and an old wooden barn. The Baker Building is located a bit further down Dalney Street -- it is the first brick building on your left. To reach the ERB building, walk to the end of Dalney Street and turn left onto Ferst Drive. The CRB is a block away at the intersection of Ferst Street and State Street. Please call your contact in the Hinman Building for walking directions from Dalney Street.
  6. As you enter any GTRI building, immediately check in with building security at the front desk.

To Return to Midtown Station from CRB via MARTA

Wait at the bus stop at the corner of 10th Street and State Street. Either the 12 or the 37 will take you to Midtown Station.
