GTRI makes it four in a row.

The Atlanta Business Chronicle named the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) to its Top 10 Best Places to Work in Atlanta. Selection to the annual list is based entirely upon employee surveys conducted by Quantum Workplace during the summer. GTRI moved up this year, ranking ninth on the list of large companies with more than 500 employees.

“Once again, those who matter most—our employees—have validated GTRI as a great place to work,” said Director Bob McGrath. "Our hard-working and dedicated people are GTRI's most valuable asset. Together, our team of researchers, support staff, business development and security personnel enables the groundbreaking research and applied engineering innovations for which GTRI is famous."

The Chronicle recognized award-winners during its annual breakfast, held Sept. 14, 2012, at the Atlanta Aquarium. This year, the Chronicle honored 100 companies—10 large, 30 medium (101 to 500 employees) and 60 small (10 to 100 employees). Of the 675 companies nominated, more than 27,000 employees from more than 400 companies participated in the surveys.
