Behavioral Modeling and Computational Social Systems

The Behavior Modeling and Computational Social Science work uses modern data science techniques informed by social science theory to perform next generation applied behavioral research. Our multi-disciplinary applications use high performance computing to create operational capabilities that provide actionable intelligence tailored to specific user needs. Our projects focus on a number of problem spaces, including computational social science, technology prediction, social network analysis, event prediction, information operations, human computer communication, natural language processing, insider threat detection, business intelligence, epidemiological monitoring, nuclear and WMD proliferation monitoring, and automated influence and deception detection.
