Georgia Tech and GTRI Offer Military Fellowship

The Military Graduate Research Program (MGRP) provides opportunities for U.S military personnel to conduct Department of Defense (DoD) related part-time research at the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) while simultaneously obtaining a graduate degree in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) related master’s degree program at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Military personnel perform state-of-the art research as a Military Graduate Research Assistant (MGRA) working along-side full-time GTRI Research Faculty conducting research and solving applied engineering problems on sponsored, real-world, DoD related projects.

GTRI Appoints Mark Militello as Associate Vice President of Finance and Research Administration

The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) has appointed Mark Militello as its next Associate Vice President (AVP) of Finance and Research Administration/Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective May 1, 2025. Militello will provide overall executive leadership of GTRI Finance and Research Administration (FRA), including oversight of all financial organizations within GTRI, and will be responsible for sponsored project administration, business operations, accounting, finance, budgeting, and audits.
