Georgia Tech and GTRI Offer Military Fellowship

The Military Graduate Research Program (MGRP) provides opportunities for U.S military personnel to conduct Department of Defense (DoD) related part-time research at the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) while simultaneously obtaining a graduate degree in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) related master’s degree program at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Military personnel perform state-of-the art research as a Military Graduate Research Assistant (MGRA) working along-side full-time GTRI Research Faculty conducting research and solving applied engineering problems on sponsored, real-world, DoD related projects.

Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan Names GTRI Researcher to Health Task Force

A Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) specialist in health informatics has been named to Georgia’s new Task Force on Healthcare Access and Cost. Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan announced the 16 members of the task force, which includes Jon Duke, director of Georgia Tech’s Center for Health Analytics and Informatics, and principal research scientist at the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI).
